Dozens of green sea turtles released in the Gulf of Mexico ahead of cold frontAbout 41 of the turtles were released into the Gulf of Mexico on Friday so they can find warmer waters before the temperatures dropped.
Staff and volunteers say they are working diligently to access every turtle to help get them to warmer waters and warm them up by three to five degrees each day to prevent shock.
