Residents of San Diego County are facing evacuation orders Tuesday as the Lilac Fire and Pala Fire have broken out in the region, officials say.

Less than two weeks after the Los Angeles County fires wreaked havoc, San Diego County was met with multiple brushfires.

Center Fire initially started today at 10:02 a.m. in San Diego County. It has burned 3.9 acres after being active for five hours. There is currently no information on the containment of the fire.

"A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions are either occurring now, or will shortly," the NWS said.
