Sliding Rock, one of the most popular tourist destinations in Pisgah National Forest, is set to reopen Memorial Day weekend.

All 92 locations will close by the end of the month, but until then, shoppers can visit to receive up to 40 percent off merchandise.

As one of The Nature Conservancy’s four preserves in the state, Blowing Rocks is the smallest, the busiest and the oldest.
