(WNDU) - We’ve officially reached the postseason for high school girls basketball in the state of Michigan. District tournaments are taking place across the state this week. Here’s a look at the districts involving teams in our viewing area.

Wypych, now a Miss Basketball finalist, averaging 22.5 points, 3.4 rebounds and 2.6 steals, has been a starter since her freshman year, competing in the final four at Breslin each season, losing to West Bloomfield in the semifinals in 2022 and again last season in an overtime game.

The Michigan High School Sports Writers Association, formerly known as the Associated Press, recently released its latest girls basketball rankings for the 2024-25 season.
