Amazon is retiring Chime, the company's internal meeting software for video and audio calls, and replacing it with Zoom, an external solution with the same capabilities. An internal memo to employees viewed by Business Insider on Wednesday said that Zoom would now be the "standard meeting application" for internal Amazon meetings companywide,

Chime allows Amazon's employees to meet, chat and place business calls inside and outside the organization, as a preferred service for video calls.

Amazon is no longer accepting new customers for Chime ahead of ending support for the video conferencing service in 2026.
