A 6-year-old boy has died and his mother and two firefighters were injured after a fire in an apartment building on Chicago's North Side Friday, Chicago fire officials said.

At least one firefighter was injured after a Chicago fire truck crashed into a church on the city’s South Side Friday, and the Chicago Firefighter’s Union said decades-old equipment is to blame.
