The Arizona Cardinals had to land a big fish this offseason. No Sweat. They dove into the NFL free agency pool Monday and landed a major deal, agreeing to terms with former Philadelphia Eagles edge rusher Josh Sweat on a four-year contract worth a reported $76.4 million, including a whopping $41 million guaranteed.

The Cardinals earned low grades in the latest version of the NFL Players Association's annual survey but have a $100 million plan for improvements.

Violet Bidwill had been owner of the Cardinals for only a few months when she accompanied the team to training camp in Waukesha, Wisconsin in August, 1947. During one practice, she looked out over the team, finally settling in with a post-World War II roster.
