While the Heat prepare for hopeful playoff basketball with four games left including Monday night, this outing is an unusual one as the team is missing Bam Adebayo and Andrew Wiggins once again. With the absences, Miami went with the starting lineup of Herro, Pelle Larsson, Alec Burks, Haywood Highsmith, and Ware.
Andrew Wiggins’ arrival in Miami sparked excitement among fans who believed his talent could fill the void left by Jimmy Butler. However, a string of injuries has derailed those hopes, and Wiggins has since expressed deep frustration over his ongoing health setbacks.
Per Ira Winderman of The South Florida Sun Sentinel, Heat head coach Erik Spoelstra is unsure of exactly when Wiggins will be back with Miami. The 6-foot-7 swingman out of Kansas is sitting out the entirety of Miami's current three-game road trip. This Wizards clash represents the second game of the stretch.
