True freshman quarterback Michael Hawkins Jr. made his first career start on Saturday, after replacing Jackson Arnold late in the second quarter last week. Hawkins finished 10 of 15 passing for 161 yards, no touchdowns, and no interceptions. He also ran 14 times for 69 yards, one touchdown, and one acrobatic two-point conversion.
