The No. 9 Alabama Crimson Tide finished strong in a 52-7 victory the Mercer Bears Saturday afternoon at Bryant-Denny Stadium. Alabama improved to 8-2 overall before its final two games of the regular season in SEC play.

The Tide takes a week away from SEC play Saturday when FCS Mercer (6-1, 9-1) come to Bryant-Denny Stadium. The Bears, sit atop the Southern Conference, are a 41.5-point underdog to Alabama. Alabama and Mercer are scheduled to kickoff shortly after 1 p.m. in Tuscaloosa.
