Former UNLV standout safety Jalen Catalon has announced his transfer to Missouri as first reported by Pete Nakos of On3Sports, bolstering the Tigers' secondary

First-team All-Mountain West safety Jalen Catalon is transferring from UNLV to Missouri, a source confirmed to ESPN.

Missouri football signed third-team All-American safety Jalen Catalon from UNLV on Sunday, marking a major addition as MU rebuilds its secondary.

Mizzou earned a commitment from an experienced safety in Jalen Catalon on Sunday morning as the Tigers continue to build for 2025.

Catalon recorded 96 tackles, five tackles for loss, two sacks, five interceptions, four passes defended and one forced fumble in 2024 for the Rebels.

Catalon was a four-star recruit out of Mansfield Legacy High School in Texas and signed with Arkansas during the 2019 cycle. The 5-foot-11, 205-pound safety spent four seasons in Fayetteville, playing significant snaps in two of them after redshirting his first year.
