The Cricket Association for the Blind in India (CABI) on Wednesday announced that it is pulling the team out of the fourth edition of the T20 Blind Cricket World Cup, scheduled to be held in Pakistan, after failing to secure the Indian government's clearance for the squad to travel to Pakistan.

The T20 Blind World Cup will proceed as planned in Pakistan despite the absence of the Indian blind cricket team.

The chief of Pakistan’s blind cricket association said on Tuesday that the T20 Blind World Cup would take place in the country even without the Indian team amid reports from Indian media that the team was pulled out of participating in the tournament.

The Indian blind cricket team reportedly failed to get clearance from the government to participate in the upcoming T20 World Cup for the Blind in Pakistan. As a result, the team has withdrawn from the competition.

India have withdrawn their Blind cricket team from the T20 Blind World Cup scheduled in Pakistan. The government denied clearance for the team to participate in the tournament citing security concerns.

Captain Durga Rao Tompaki said it is disheartening to miss out on the chance to compete in the T20 Blind Cricket World Cup in Pakistan following India's withdrawal from the tournament.

Chairman Syed Sultan Shah said the PBCC had completed all arrangements for hosting the World Cup and there would be no schedule change.

The Indian blind cricket team's participation in the T20 World Cup in Pakistan is uncertain. The government has not granted the team permission to travel due to security concerns, despite the tournament starting on November 23rd.
