Grimmway Farms voluntarily recalled organic whole carrots and selected baby carrots after the CDC found that they may be associated with an outbreak.

One person has died and dozens have been sickened, many of them local, across nearly 20 states in an E. coli outbreak the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention says is linked to organic bagged carrots.

The outbreak, detected across 18 U.S. states, is linked to carrots and baby carrots sold by brands such as Wegmans, 365, Trader Joe’s and Nature’s Promise.
