Summer online reservations for Yosemite National Park have been postponed for an indefinite time. No reservations are needed to visit the park on weekdays until the end of March, with the exception of Firefall dates.

According to Yosemite National Park, the event’s popularity has led to significant overcrowding, resulting in traffic congestion, parking issues and safety concerns. That’s why the park started requiring reservations in 2021,

The Los Angeles Times reports park officials need to get the revamped system approved by the Trump Administration. For now, people are unable to book visits from April through October. The popular Yosemite attraction " firefall " is not affected.
