The grand jury indictment, which includes some upgraded charges based on the ongoing investigation, comes after each of the defendants previously pleaded not guilty in district court.

Heuermann was scheduled to appear at 9:30am in New York's Suffolk County Supreme Court in Riverhead on Wednesday. His estranged wife, Asa Ellerup, has already arrived at court for the hearing.
