Just a few days after a river search was called off, Police Scotland has confirmed that a body has been found in the water near where the twins were last seen over three weeks ago

It’s been three weeks since Eliza and Henrietta Huszti, 32, were last seen in Aberdeen in the early hours of Tuesday, January 7.

Police said Jan. 29 that the river search relating to the disappearance of sisters Eliza Huszti and Henrietta Huszti in Scotland, has been called off over three weeks after they went missing.

A body has been recovered from the River Dee, near where two missing sisters were last seen, Police Scotland said.

Police confirmed today after "extensive and detailed searches" of the river and the Harbour area, the investigation has concluded there.

Eliza and Henrietta Huszti's disappearance earlier this month sparked a major search operation. Police Scotland previously said there had been nothing to suggest "suspicious circumstances or criminality".

Searches of Aberdeen's River Dee and harbour area after two sisters disappeared have now ended. Eliza and Henrietta Huszti were last seen at Victoria Bridge in the early hours of Tuesday 7 January. The 32-year-old sisters - who are from a set of triplets - are originally from Hungary.
