A 13-year-old boy was hospitalized and a man received treatment after a shooting overnight on a CTA Red Line train Police said the shooting happened on the train at the Sox-35th Street station Thursday just before 10 p.

CHICAGO - A 13-year-old boy and a man were found shot on a CTA Red Line train Thursday night on Chicago's South Side. What we know Just before 10 p.m., officers were called to the 35th Street station for a report of a person shot on the train.

As yellow tape took over the inside of that train car, police were seen taking pictures where several evidence markers were placed on the ground near the train doors.

Police have released surveillance images of the robbers, and asked anyone who recognizes them to contact CPD public transit detectives at 312-745-4706.
