Democrats were projected to win at least 203 House seats and Republicans 211 seats as of Thursday afternoon. A party needs 218 seats in order to have the majority.

Republicans will win control of the Senate, CNN projects, a victory for the party that has been locked out of the majority in the chamber since 2021.

The AP officially called the Wisconsin Senate race for Democratic Incumbent Tammy Baldwin over Republican challenger Eric Hovde. Hovde has not conceded the race yet as it’s within the 1% margin that would allow him to ask for a recount at his expense.
