It is expected that Google will release the Google Pixel 10 lineup, including the Pixel 10 Pro and Pixel 10 Pro XL, sometime in Fall 2025. While in the past Google has traditionally stuck to October for these releases, the Pixel 9 was released in August 2024, so it is plausible that Google will launch the Pixel 10 lineup in August 2025 as well.

The Pixel 10 lineup is shaping up to be Google’s most ambitious release yet, with the company reportedly shifting away from Samsung’s chip-making and going all in on its in-house Tensor G5 processor. But despite the raw specs getting beefier, early reports suggest that performance might still lag behind competitors.

Another Pixel 9 feature, Pixel Studio, also appears on the Pixel 9a. This is Google's image creation tool, where you can use text prompts to create an illustration. A recent Pixel feature drop added the ability to create images featuring people, and that's supported on the Pixel 9a as well.
