Rep. Josh Christy, a Republican, died Tuesday evening in Bismarck of unknown causes, Rep. Jeremy Olson, R-Arnegard announced Wednesday during a North Dakota House floor session. The Legislature held a moment of silence Wednesday afternoon as the news was announced.

BISMARCK, N.D. (KUMV) - House officials announced the passing of Fargo Rep. Josh Christy on Wednesday. Christy was elected in 2022 to represent District 27 in Fargo. He was a software developer and business owner. He passed away Tuesday evening at the age of 43. The cause of death was not publicly released.
