Among the changes in iOS 18.4 are eight new emojis that first were revealed as part of the Unicode 16 Standard back last fall.

There are around two billion smart phones in use worldwide ... % are emotion based – for example, smiley face, love hearts. A smaller proportion of the emoji sent are sad expressions.

From simple smiley faces and love hearts to high heels and rainbows, it seems like there is already an emoji for every possible situation.
