Mesa man arrested for robbing a credit union with a hot glue gun, mistaken for a real gun, and later caught by police.

POLICE SAY CHRISTINA THAGGARD HANDED A NOTE TO THE BANK TELLER, STATING THAT IT WAS A ROBBERY AND THAT SHE WAS ARMED WITH A GUN. WELL, THAGGARD ALLEGEDLY LEFT THE SCENE WITH MORE THAN $5,000.

The alleged bank robber was also wanted on an outstanding warrant. His car was found, about 2.5 miles away from the Wells Fargo, at 65 Shiloh Road where he was arrested.
