A cuddly cat in Connecticut was surrendered to an animal shelter for being 'too affectionate' but is now on his way to a new home, the Little Guild Animal Shelter in Cornwall confirmed to PEOPLE.
The Galt Police Department is investigating and working to locate the dogs' owner.
