The Trump administration fired Hampton Dellinger, head of the Office of Special Counsel, who sued to overturn the decision.

The Supreme Court left in place a block on Trump’s bid to remove Office of Special Counsel head Hampton Dellinger, allowing lower court proceedings to continue.

The justices ruled that the head of the Office of Special Counsel could stay in his position at least until Feb. 26.
