Welker was teammates with Vrabel for two seasons (2007-2008). He also overlapped on the Texans staff for one season (2017). The former Patriots receiver coached wideouts in San Francisco (2019-2021) and recently in Miami (2022-2024) where he was also the ‘pass game specialist.’ Welker was fired by the Dolphins on Jan. 10.
