Students slept out for homelessness Saturday night in Lakewood to raise awareness and funds for a program that is focused on a growing issue in Cleveland and surrounding neighborhoods.

Thousands of hygiene products collected during the campaign are being distributed to area shelters that serve some of the most vulnerable populations in Northeast Ohio, the release said.
