During a press conference earlier this afternoon, MassDOT Highway Supervisor Jonathan Gulliver said officials hoped to have one lane on the Pike's westbound side open by about 2 p.m.; however, that side of the road remained closed as of 2:45 p.m.

HOPKINTON —The Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) announced this morning that the right two lanes on the Mass Pike (Interstate 90) westbound at the Interstate 495 interchange have been closed for emergency repair operations after a construction trench settlement formed in the low-speed lane due to nearby construction.
