EA Sports announced that all six PWHL teams will be added to NHL 25 during their holiday update on Dec. 5 as part of their new multi-year partnership. The PWHL teams will be featured in the Play Now, Online Versus, Shootout and Season modes.

In a multiyear deal announced Wednesday, EA Sports' NHL 25 video game will feature Professional Women's Hockey League (PWHL) players and teams when the game drops Dec. 5.

All six PWHL teams will be integrated into the game as part of a multiyear partnership between the video game developer and the league.

The game now features likenesses for the head coaches of all 32 NHL teams, as well as historical data for each coach and their statistical histories.

The Professional Woman’s Hockey League and Electronic Arts have signed a multi-year deal regarding future EA Sports NHL games. Under the deal, players can expect to see representation of female hockey players and teams in EA Sports NHL 25 and possibly future hockey sims from the developer.

The update will launch December 5, when NHL 25 will begin featuring all six PWHL teams in Play Now, Online Versus, Shootout and Season Modes. The Walter Cup will also be included in the game.

The Boston Fleet and the rest of the PWHL will be featured in the latest update for the NHL 25 video game series.

Fans of women’s hockey and of the video game franchise EA SPORTS NHL 25 will soon be able to play the game with all six teams of the Professional Women’s Hockey League.

PWHL women’s ice hockey competition will be integrated into various online and offline modes on EA Sports NHL 25.
