WASHINGTON — Florida Republican state Sen. Randy Fine and GOP state CFO Jimmy Patronis easily won two crucial special elections for the US House in the Sunshine State Tuesday, temporarily bolstering the GOP’s razor-thin majority.

Triumph Gulf Coast Inc. Board Chair Jay Trumbull Sr. said he’s in agreement with the appointment of Rigdon by Patronis. Trumbull added that Rigdon has big shoes to fill in replacing Henderson.
