"We have had reports from intelligence sources on the existence of a factory inside China producing drones which are shipped to Russia," a senior EU official told Politico on Nov. 15.

The European Union’s top diplomat, Josep Borrell, has reportedly informed member states of “compelling evidence” that a Chinese factory is involved in producing “lethal aid” for Russia. The allegation,

German media report that China may be producing drones for the Russian military. According to information from Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung, the European Union is investigating indications that Chinese machines are participating in the fighting in Ukraine.

The warning comes as the Czech foreign minister urges Europe to follow Donald Trump’s lead on China. The EU will press Beijing for answers over reports that a China-based company is producing military drones for use in Russia's war against Ukraine, a senior EU official said Friday.

According to the report, Josep Borrell, the EU's foreign policy chief, briefed EU member states about recent intelligence findings that show Beijing providing direct military aid to Moscow. A senior EU diplomat described the evidence as "compelling" and confirmed it indicates the provision of "lethal aid" to Russia.
