Hudson Meek, a young actor known for portraying the child version of the title character in the hit action movie Baby Driver, and, more recently, a handful of TV series roles, has died after falling from a moving vehicle in Alabama.

Hudson Meek, the 16-year-old actor known for his performance in the 2017 film "Baby Driver," died Dec. 21 in Alabama, authorities said.

CNN reported that Meek “sustained blunt force trauma” after falling on December 19. The site said the 16-year-old was admitted to the University of Alabama Birmingham Hospital and that is where he died on December 21. A post to his Instagram account addressed his death.

Fans are devastated after learning about the untimely death of child actor, Hudson Meek. He was popularly known for portraying the younger version of Ansel Elgort’s character in Edgar Wright-directed Baby Driver.
