Chelsea and Canada defender Kadeisha Buchanan has become Chelsea's sixth player to suffer an anterior cruciate ligament injury since December last year.

Chelsea defender Kadeisha Buchanan requires surgery after sustaining an anterior cruciate ligament injury. Buchanan, 29, last played for Chelsea in their Women's Super League (WSL) victory over Liverpool on 10 November.

Chelsea Women defender Kadeisha Buchanan has suffered an anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injury, manager Sonia Bompastor has confirmed. Bompastor said the 29-year-old Canada international had suffered the injury in their victory over Liverpool in the Women’s Super League (WSL) on November 10.
