John Cena Confirmed For Another Major WWE Event
Cena will also appear at Saturday night's Main Event on May 24th at the Yuengling Center in Tampa, Florida. This marks Cena's first appearance in Tampa since December 2022. Cena is scheduled for appearances on Raw and SmackDown during WWE's European tour:
WWE Backlash Announced For May 10, John Cena To Appear
March 14, 2025 – WWE today announced that Backlash will emanate from the Enterprise Center in St. Louis, Missouri, on Saturday, May 10. The event will feature St. Louis native Randy Orton in addition to WWE Superstar John Cena who will make his first Backlash appearance since 2009 as he continues his year-long farewell tour.

WWE announced Friday that the Backlash premium live event will be held at the Enterprise Center in St. Louis on May 10. Legendary WWE Superstar Randy Orton, who is from St. Louis, revealed that he will be part of the show in some capacity: WWE also announced that John Cena will make his first appearance at Backlash since 2009 as part of his retirement tour.
