King William County’s courthouse was first used five decades earlier in 1725. The county will mark the courthouse’s 300th anniversary on Saturday.

The county administrator’s proposed $56.3 million budget for the 2026 financial year is a 7.8% increase on fiscal year 2025. It includes a 3% cost of living pay increase for county employees.
