The New Mutants was one of the least well-received films from the Fox X-Men universe, despite introducing some compelling new characters.

While most of the X-Men movies turned a neat profit for the studio, the box office failure of their lowest-grossing film is actually shocking.

Heads up: I'm going to be damning this film with a lot of faint praise. After all, The New Mutants has been delayed so much and so often its mere existence is worth a round of applause.
