St. Louis Shakespeare Festival will stage ‘Hamlet’ and new zoo show for 25th season
ST. LOUIS — St. Louis Shakespeare Festival is bringing the towering “Hamlet” to Forest Park this summer for its 25th anniversary. “We wanted to do the biggest, best Shakespeare play that we could,” said Tom Ridgely, producing artistic director for the festival. “It doesn’t get any bigger than ‘Hamlet.’”

To celebrate 25 years, the St. Louis Shakespeare Festival is partnering up with the Saint Louis Zoo. The partnership will see the Shakespeare Festival perform a six week run of “Romeo and Zooliet” on the Historic Hill at the zoo.
