The Trump administration’s revocation of all visas held by South Sudanese nationals comes as the East African nation faces the threat of renewed war.

The US said on Saturday it would revoke all visas held by South Sudanese passport holders over South Sudan’s failure to accept the return of its repatriated citizens, at a time when many in Africa fear that the country could return to civil war.

South Sudanese officials say they'll allow a foreign national entry into the country after their initial refusal to do so prompted the United States to revoke the visas of all of its citizens
