PULASKI COUNTY, Ark. – Thousands of voters in Pulaski County have already made their way to the polls for early voting. Officials say the turnout of the first day of early voting compared to the last presidential election is record-breaking, they add that they’re committed to making sure each ballot cast is secure.

Voters saw long waits at the polls on the last day to cast an early ballot in Arkansas. Here's when, where and how to vote on Election Day.

County Clerk Terry Kubasiak explained that military-mailed ballots postmarked by election day can be received up to Friday and added to the total.

Almost 50,000 people turned out on Election Day and 25,000 voted early in the Republican stronghold, the Sussex County clerk said.
