A Powerball player in Kansas won $50,000 but just missed the $154 million jackpot, lottery officials say. The ticket matched four of five winning numbers and the Powerball in the drawing Wednesday, Feb. 12, the Kansas Lottery said.

The Powerball jackpot for Wednesday’s lottery drawing has climbed to an estimated $154 million, with a cash option of $71.4 million. The drawing will be held at 10:59 p.m. and televised on WABC-7 in New York City and Fox 29 in Philadelphia. NJ.com will publish the winning numbers immediately following the conclusion of the drawing.
