The five-figure winning Powerball game was sold prior to last Saturday’s drawing at the Walmart gas station Fuel Kiosk at 1415 South Main St. in Darlington, officials said. The ticket matched four white ball numbers and the red Powerball number, a feat that has odds of 1-in-913,129 of occurring, officials said.

The numbers drawn in Monday evening’s Powerball lottery were 12, 41, 44, 52, 64 and the Powerball number was 25. The estimated jackpot is $20 million. The drawing was the first since the last time a ticket with all six numbers was sold.

“I thought my eyes were playing tricks,” the man told lottery officials. His girlfriend initially grew concerned over his excitement, she told lottery officials. “We are still in shock,” the girlfriend said in the release. The winner told lottery officials he plans to spend his winnings on bills.

The $526.5 million was revised upward from initial reports that pegged it at around $515 million, the Powerball website said.
