After five weeks of hospitalization with pneumonia, including moments where he came close to death, Pope Francis is back at home in the Vatican recovering.

Before leaving the hospital, the pope blessed a cheering crowd of over 3,000 people gathered in the courtyard chanting his name.

Francis rejected all trappings of sovereignty and cult of personality. Instead, he has lived and preached what Jesus commanded his followers to do in the Sermon on the Mount, which might as well be the Communist Manifesto nowadays.
