Pele holds the trophy after Brazil beat Czechoslovakia 3-1 in the final of the 1962 World Cup in Chile. Sadly he missed that game after being injured in only the second match of the tournament.

Pele scored 77 goals for Brazil in 92 appearances. He is the joint-top goalscorer of all time for Brazil, alongside modern superstar Neymar, who matched his tally at the 2022 World Cup.
