The driver of the semitrailer died at the scene of the crash and paramedics took the snow plow driver to a hospital with unknown injuries, Colorado State Patrol officials said.

According to Colorado State Patrol, a semi-truck driver collided with the back of a snowplow on I-25, just before 5 a.m. on Wednesday. The semi-truck driver died from his injuries.

A semi truck hit a CDOT snow plow about five miles north of Walsenburg early Wednesday morning, according to Colorado State Patrol.
