Insomniac's version of Spider-Man is heading to Marvel Rivals in a collab that ties in with the PC release of Marvel's Spider-Man 2.

Marvel Rivals players are being treated to an unlikely crossover that brings the Advanced Suit 2.0 from Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 into the game as a new skin. PlayStation announced the news itself in a post on X/Twitter,

Marvel Rivals is adding the Advanced Suit 2.0 to Spider-Man's selection of skins on January 30 - the same day that Marvel's Spider-Man 2 releases on PC after a year-and-change of PS5 exclusivity.

Sony has confirmed that the Advanced suit used in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 will soon make its way to Marvel Rivals.

NetEase has announced they will be bringing the Advanced Suit 2.0 to Marvel Rivals as a celebration of the launch of Spider-Man 2 on PC on January 30th, 2025.

A post about the crossover on the official Marvel Rivals Discord server states that the "Advanced Suit 2.0 blends Otto Octavius's science with Peter Parker's genius. Crafted for the toughest battles, it symbolizes Spider-Man's true grit as a hero."

Marvel Rivals and Spider-Man 2 are crossing over to promote the release of PlayStation's latest PC port on Steam.

The Midnight Features event has taken over Marvel Rivals, and to complete some quests in it, you have to swing onto the scene as Spider-Man. If you don’t usually play as him, this can be tough to do, especially for the trigger Spider-Tracer 10 times task.

Marvel Rivals may have shot itself in the foot by releasing a Bag-Man skin early for Spider-Man, particularly before the Fantastic Four has arrived.
