"Malcolm in the Middle" won 7 primetime Emmys during its original seven season run. The first few seasons largely focus on Malcolm, a bonafide genius, and his challenges living with a family who lacked his gifted intelligence. Like a younger and less bloody Deadpool, Malcolm regularly broke the fourth wall and spoke directly to the audience.
