He said the school used to have a thriving skate club sponsored by another teacher, Reagan Beres, mother of MacArthur High School graduate and one of the world’s top skateboarders, Raney Beres.

In Decatur, Brittany Huff turned MacArthur High School’s Drama Club around after a slew of challenges that grew during COVID. During the day, Mrs. Huff is a social studies teacher.
