Heartstopper may not be coming back for Season 4, but the series isn’t flatlining just yet. Six months after Season 3 premiered, Netflix announced on the third anniversary of Heartstopper‘s 2022 series premiere Tuesday that the show will not be renewed for a fourth and final season.

Netflix will be giving Heartstopper the finale it deserves. The streamer announced Heartstopper will return with a feature film instead of a fourth season to conclude the series. Stars Kit Connor and Joe Locke will reprise their roles and serve as executive producers on the picture, alongside Heartstopper creator Alice Oseman.
