FGF Brands said the recall was issued as a precautionary measure over concerns of a potential listeria risk at one of its facilities.

Approximately 2 million doughnut and pastry products have been recalled due to potential listeria contamination, according to an official report issued by the FDA on Feb. 5. Several of the recalled products are typically sold at the popular coffee and doughnut chain Dunkin'.

The recall, which was initiated on Jan. 7 and upgraded on Wednesday, includes several Dunkin’ products, federal safety officials said.
