A man was shot and killed in Chicago's Lincoln Park neighborhood Wednesday night. Police were called at 9:20 p.m. to the 800 block of West Lill Avenue, just west of Halsted Street, where they found a 28-year-old man on the sidewalk.

Lincoln Park resident Tessa Shields said she was shocked to see police tape on the sidewalk. "This never happens here. Lincoln Park is literally the best community and this doesn't happen and this is why it's weird to see this.
