A helicopter crashed into the Hudson River near Jersey City on Thursday afternoon, according to witness reports and images shared on social media. It was not immediately clear how many people were aboard the craft when it went down, nor what their condition was. Multiple emergency vehicles and boats were on scene, just south of Newport Park.
